Stairs, narrow hallways, and lifts don't slow us down. The apartment moving service from Moving Service Dublin is built for city living, with careful handling, fixed prices, and full insurance from the first box to the last. Moving more than an apartment? See all our moving services across Dublin. We also look after office removals, and if there's a piano in the flat, our piano removals team can bring it along safely.
We check lift sizes, stairwell widths, and building access rules ahead of time so nothing gets stuck on moving day, and we work around building management booking slots where needed.
Boxes packed and labelled where possible, large furniture disassembled if needed, and any lift or loading dock booked in advance so we can move efficiently from the first trip.
Apartment moves come with a set of challenges house moves usually don't: shared lifts, booking systems, management company rules, and limited loading bay time. A mover who treats it like a standard house move often runs into delays that cost you time and, sometimes, money in overrun fees.
Many Dublin apartment complexes, particularly newer developments in the Docklands and city centre, require lifts to be booked in advance for moves. We'll ask about this at quote stage so it's sorted before moving day, not discovered on arrival.
Older apartment blocks without lifts need a different approach, more trips, careful corner navigation, and realistic time estimates. We factor floor level into every apartment quote.
Some complexes only allow short loading windows or have limited visitor parking. We check this in advance so we're not left circling the block while your lift booking ticks away.
Tell us about your building, floor level, and lift or stairwell access, and we'll come back with a fixed price quote built around your specific apartment. More on how we work is on our About Us page.
